About memsaab.
With launch of memsaab.com we are trying to create a network of Memsaabs around the globe. We want the Global Indian Women to join hands together in this special endeavor. We don't want to be referred to as just sitagita or indiwo, coz there’s more to us than that! We want to build a community where we identity ourselves as memsaabs.
The term "memsaab" is used to denote a respected woman in our society. We believe that all women deserve to be respected by themselves and by others. That is the philosophy behind building a well-respected community of memsaabs. We want you to take lead in building and leading this online community.
So this is how we will put our plans in place:
- Create and host local chapters in major cities in India and around the world.
- Build a strong sense of community amongst ourselves.
- Speak out as one voice: the voice of the community.
- Fight against the injustice meted out to women even today.
- Help each other in all facets of life: personal and professional.
- Have some fun while browsing the Internet.
